Excursion «129. Nesher Bridge and fairy Rosh Ha Nikra»

We will visit one of the wonderful places in Israel. It is located in the north, in the Western Galilee.

It's Rosh HaNikra. A funicular will take you down to a tunnel that leads to the caves, washed by water in the coastal cliffs.

The sight is both calming and exciting. The seawater inside the caves constantly changes its colors, transitioning from tranquil turquoise to almost black.

In the past, this beauty was only accessible to daring individuals who swam from the open sea. Today, visits are completely safe and comfortable.

Next, our route will continue to the north of Israel, to the mountains of Upper Galilee. If you decide to come here to admire this unique natural creation, you will have to conquer a mountain serpentine road. But it is worth it, as on the way, you will be greeted by breathtaking views of Israel's nature. The road to "Mearat HaKeshet," located about 400 meters above sea level, is very picturesque and intriguing, with delightful views awaiting you at every turn.

Nesher Bridge. What could be more amazing than taking a walk on a suspension bridge?

Attractions

Rosh HaNikra grottoes

On the territory bordering Lebanon, there is an unusual grotto washed by the Mediterranean Sea in a chalk cliff. Many historians agree that at one time Alexander the Great himself laid a tunnel in the rock through which his entire large army could pass. This place is open to tourists. The cable car leads to a 400-meter tunnel of man-made work, from where you can see all the splendor of unusual caves.

Rainbow Cave

Rainbow Cave

Nature gave the Western Galilee its whimsical creation, which has become one of Israel's most popular tourist attractions.

The Rainbow Cave, or arch cave, is so named because it really looks like an arch-arc. Only it is made of stone and not by hand, but by the force of nature.

Once it was the most ordinary "deaf" mountain. But water - drop by drop - chiseled away the rock. The painstaking work lasted hundreds of thousands of years, and now there is a hole in the mountain, making its upper part look like a bridge. It's hard to believe that all this is not the work of human hands!

Going to the cave, dress in such a way that it is comfortable to walk. You will have to move on the rocks.
