Attractions

Akre

It is the city, within the walls of which is still heard the clang of swords and armor of the crusaders and war cries calling for battle. Acre is saturated with history and time has no power over this place. Sometimes it seems that it is moving perfectly in a chaotic direction. Monuments of the past and present mixed together here, but they appeared far from architectural badness, on the contrary brought a special atmosphere.
There is an ancient port, and fortresses of the crusaders, and Turkish baths (hamams), mosques and even a magical garden built during the crusaders. Among all the historical diversity it is difficult to single out one thing.: the city keeps the secret of the Templars, it hosted Napoleon, the legendary king Richard the Lionheart, and despite all the warriors, rulers and conquerors, Acre has never interrupted its settlement for more than five millennia and is one of the oldest cities in the world.

Mount Tabor (Favor)

In the Jezreel Valley at a distance of nine kilometers from Nazareth is Mount Tabor, its height is 558 meters. It is believed that on Mount Tabor the most important event happened - the Transfiguration of Jesus (when he climbed a mountain with three apostles).
Today, two temples rise in the town of Tabor - the Catholic church built in the nineteenth century and the Orthodox monastery built from the remains of the oldest Byzantine church. It is in the Orthodox monastery that one of the most important shrines of the town of Tabor is located, namely, the icon of the Virgin and Child printed on newsprint. The origin of this icon is unknown, because at one time it was found in the sea, neatly folded in a bottle. A huge number of believers come to seek help from this icon.
Mount Tabor is a popular destination among tourists, because it is interesting from several sides - historical, cultural and religious.

Carney Hittin

Karnei Hittin

A sacred place for followers of Druzeism, a religion practiced by a group of Arabs living in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria in addition to Israel. It originated in the 10th to 11th centuries CE in Egypt, and its greatest figure is considered by the Druze to be al-Hakim.

West of the Sea of Galilee (or Lake Kinneret) is a hill on which stands a magnificent palace. In one of its rooms the prophet Nebi Shu'ayb found eternal rest. The Druze call Yitro, the father-in-law of the prophet Moses.

This place is famous for another event. According to legend, in 1187 the Crusaders clashed here in a battle with the Egyptian Sultan Saladin. In this battle, one of the most important relics of Christ's faith, the Life-Giving Cross, was lost.
