As it is known, Armenians and Israelis have many similarities. Similarities can be found in behavior, traditions, and, of course, in the historical destiny of both peoples. But there is another connection, and that is the history of the oldest cities in the world—Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

The Armenian community of Jerusalem is the oldest in the city, second only to the Jews in terms of longevity. However, unlike the Jews, once settled, Armenians have never left the Holy City. Jerusalem changed hands multiple times, yet the Armenians remained, finding common ground with each new ruler.
