Haifa
On the slopes of the legendary Mount Carmel lies the third-largest city in Israel, and the destination of our tour is the city of Haifa. Its convenient location on the coast makes it the country's second most important port.
In addition to its unique port infrastructure and facilities, Haifa is known for being the global center of the Bahá'í Faith, the largest center and pilgrimage site for its followers. The Bahá'í World Center is located here, featuring Persian Gardens and the burial place of the faith's founder, the Bab. The Persian Garden consists of 19 terraces that form a vast staircase with 1,400 steps. It is believed that every Bahá'í believer should walk this staircase at least once, while regular tourists are only permitted to descend to the shrine area.
Acre (Akko)
Located 18 kilometers north of Haifa, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, is the city of Acre (Akko). Our tour will take us through the ancient streets of this city, which has a history spanning many centuries and preserves the memory of the warriors of the Holy Sepulchre - the Crusaders who founded it in ancient times. The old districts of the city are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and ongoing archaeological excavations on this site will provide us with the opportunity to explore the results in detail.
Rosh HaNikra
Rosh HaNikra, also known as the White Headland, is a vast chalk cliff of dazzling white color descending towards the sea. We will have the opportunity to visit the furthest point of the Israeli coastline, beyond which lies Lebanon. Here, we can witness majestic natural ensembles formed by grottoes that rival the Blue Grottoes of Capri in beauty.
By descending on the specially built cable car, we can venture deep down where the cave labyrinth begins, featuring "secret" exits to the open sea. When the sea is calm, the caves captivate with their play of light and shadows, but during storms, the walls shake with the thunderous waves crashing at our feet. The impressions from visiting Rosh HaNikra retain their vividness even after many years.

Attractions
It is the city, within the walls of which is still heard the clang of swords and armor of the crusaders and war cries calling for battle. Acre is saturated with history and time has no power over this place. Sometimes it seems that it is moving perfectly in a chaotic direction. Monuments of the past and present mixed together here, but they appeared far from architectural badness, on the contrary brought a special atmosphere.
There is an ancient port, and fortresses of the crusaders, and Turkish baths (hamams), mosques and even a magical garden built during the crusaders. Among all the historical diversity it is difficult to single out one thing.: the city keeps the secret of the Templars, it hosted Napoleon, the legendary king Richard the Lionheart, and despite all the warriors, rulers and conquerors, Acre has never interrupted its settlement for more than five millennia and is one of the oldest cities in the world.
On the territory bordering Lebanon, there is an unusual grotto washed by the Mediterranean Sea in a chalk cliff. Many historians agree that at one time Alexander the Great himself laid a tunnel in the rock through which his entire large army could pass. This place is open to tourists. The cable car leads to a 400-meter tunnel of man-made work, from where you can see all the splendor of unusual caves.
The spiritual center on Mount Carmel in Haifa is one of the holiest places for Baha'i practitioners, the youngest monotheistic religion in the world. The center includes a temple, a tomb where the remains of the Bab, the ancestor of the faith, and famous gardens rest.
The tomb is an impressive building crowned by a gilded dome. It is equipped with a backlight. Thanks to her, the dome is illuminated at night, but so that it seems as if the source of radiance is inside it.
To get to the tomb, the guest have to go through the gardens that terraces cover the slope of Mount Carmel. There are twelve in all. Seeing this incredible work of human hands, you will understand why the gardens are called the eighth wonder of the world. The local collection contains about 450 species of various plants, among which there are unique flowers. Shrubs are sheared, and you probably will not find lawns more even and greener in the city. Add to this the fountains - isn't it awesome? Bahai Gardens is a monument not only to faith and its founder, but also to the harmony and great taste of architects.
