Tel Aviv and Jaffa
Our tour begins in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Tel Aviv, which starts at the intersection where the Great Synagogue is located. Tel Aviv was originally one of the neighborhoods of ancient Jaffa before it gained city status in 1909.
The central part of Tel Aviv can easily be identified by two high-rise buildings: the round and triangular towers known as the Azrieli Towers. These towers house the offices of many major companies and organizations in the IT sector.
A significant part of the city center is the architectural complex known as the White City, which greatly contributes to the modern appearance of the city. It features many original structures that have been declared unique monuments of architectural design.
If you visit the city on a Tuesday or Friday, you might come across the large street fair that regularly takes place on Nahalat Binyamin Street. The most crowded and popular street in the city is Shenkin, where lively fairs and clothing sales often take place.
Life in Tel Aviv doesn't end with the onset of twilight. Restaurants serving cuisines from around the world are open 24/7, and pubs, bars, and clubs offer performances by renowned musicians and world-class DJs all night long.
The ancient city of Jaffa was founded many centuries ago, according to legend, at the very spot where Noah began building his ark. After the flood, Noah's son Japheth returned to these places and founded a city named after himself.
In addition to its mentions in the Bible, there are several other written sources where the toponym Jaffa appears, including the chronicles of Pharaoh Thutmose III. Throughout its history, the city was often subject to raids and was ruled by Greeks, Phoenicians, Romans, Jews, Crusaders, the Napoleonic administration, and the British.
The historical center of Jaffa, where our tour begins, is Clock Square. The clock tower has four dials that show the time in different time zones.
One of the streets leading from the square takes you to the main mosque of the city, built during the time of Muslim administration. Excavations have been conducted at the Square of Antiquities, the main square of Jaffa, allowing us to see the city's development history. Additional materials can be found at the Jaffa History Museum located nearby.
The next stop on our tour is Mini-Israel Park, which allows you to see the entire country in one day. Here, in a reduced scale, all the historical, national, archaeological, and cultural-religious sites are presented alongside modern buildings against the backdrop of authentic landscapes. The park is divided into six sectors, symbolizing the rays of the Star of David, representing the regional divisions of Israel.

Attractions
Despite the fact that Israel is a small country, the number of attractions, holy places and cultural monuments is incredible. It’s not possible to visit all interesting places during one vacation, but there is a wonderful alternative - a miniature park! Mini Israel Theme Park is located near Ben Gurion Airport and today is one of the largest parks of its kind in the world. Here, every tourist will be able to see about four hundred miniature models of various sights of Israel. Here are historical, religious and modern monuments made by hand. Each of the attractions presented in the park looks incredibly realistic and conveys the flavor of Israel and the spirit of the people. Especially for the Mini Israel Park, live dwarf trees and shrubs were grown.
In the center of the square, the Clock Tower (Migdal haShaon) was erected, built in the beginning of the 20th century in honor of the 25th anniversary of the coronation of the “blood sultan” Abdul-Hamid II (1842 - 1918), who ruled the Ottoman (Ottoman) empire from 1876 and deposed in 1909
Not far from the port of Jaffa in the Mediterranean Sea is the famous Andromeda rock.
According to ancient Greek mythology, at the behest of Poseidon (the God of the seas) and his wife Cassiopeia, the young Andromeda, daughter of King Kefey, was chained to a rock in the open sea. This happened because of the offense of the sea deities on Andromeda, because she boasted of her beauty. The sea monster sent by Poseidon threatened to destroy all the subjects of Kepheus. As a result, Kefey was forced to sacrifice his daughter. Saved the girl from terrible torment, the son of Zeus, Perseus (in exchange for the fact that she will become his wife). Subsequently, Andromeda gave birth to Perseus nine children (seven sons and two daughters).
Many tourists vacationing in Israel want to see the mythical rock, which is a natural attraction.
This city is only a hundred years old. Tel Aviv is surrounded by beaches: the city lies on the Mediterranean coast, on its eastern side. The streets of the seaside town here are bizarre and beautifully combined with modern quarters built up with skyscrapers.
Tel Aviv is noisy and different, a real metropolis. There are educational institutions, representative offices of foreign countries, museums with galleries, business centers, restaurants with hotels. Already from this list it is clear that the city lives a full life, knows how to work and relax. Also, Tel Aviv is famous for temples: they have interesting architecture.
It's great to admire the city from above. Apparently, this is why both local residents and guests love the observation deck on the 49th floor of one of the city's skyscrapers. The view from here is stunning! A visit can be combined with breakfast, lunch or dinner - there is also a good restaurant.
