Today you will go on an exciting journey through the Wachau Valley in Austria in the company of a Russian-speaking guide. This enchanting valley, listed by UNESCO, is famous for its vineyards and the unique combination of architecture and nature.

On the way to a height of five hundred meters above sea level from the slope of God's Mountain, the splendor of the landscape is revealed: mountains, vineyards, as well as the historical castle of Durnstein, where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Behind you there is a view of the ancient monastery and its rich history.

Arriving in a small town, you will discover its main pearl – the ruins of Durnstein Castle, visible from the observation deck of the monastery. This cozy town, inhabited by approximately 911 people, seems frozen in time between the 12th and 18th centuries. Here you will also find a wine library that invites everyone to feel like a real taster.

Without delaying our visit to the next point of the route, we will head to God's fortress on the hillside. It was the first residence of the Babenberg dynasty, which lasted in power for almost three centuries.

The majestic architecture of the Baroque monastery of Melk will leave an indescribable impression. Walking past the works of famous Austrian architects and fresco painters, you will plunge into this artificial world.

By visiting the museum of the old monastery, you will learn about the sacred history of Austria, where local monks pray and raise small children.

This exciting excursion will fill you with incredible impressions and memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
