Excursion to the castles of Styria and Graz from Vienna

Take a ride along the "Road of Styrian Castles" – It's like immersing yourself in a fairy tale! Castles and fortresses of the Middle Ages, which have reached our days, invite you on a fascinating journey into the past, filling each stage with stories and mysteries! Along this route we will visit three unique castles: Schilleiten Castle, and make a short stop at Stubenberg Castle.

The longest stop includes a walk through the Herberstein Park/Menagerie, Europe's oldest menagerie, owned by a count family. A group tour of Herberstein Castle, telling about the inner chambers of the count's castle, will be a fascinating guide. A visit to the "fruit paradise" on the famous "Apple Road" of Styria with a tasting of national drinks such as schnapps and liqueurs introduces us to the farming of this region and recharges us with new energy.

Graz: The excursion offers tastings of schnapps, liqueurs, pumpkin seed oil and fruits, as well as a visit to a schnapps manufactory for an additional fee of 5 euros per person, payable on the spot. Our journey will end in Graz, the second largest city in Austria, whose historical center is included in the UNESCO list. Walk along the ancient streets, visit medieval courtyards, explore the emperor’s tomb and enjoy the beauty of the “pearl of the early Renaissance of Austria” – Landhouse will create a unique atmosphere. The Schlossberg Mountain will help you admire the beauty of Graz from a bird's eye view, inside which you will see a breathtaking panorama of the entire city!
