Temple Garni, one of the most famous historical and architectural monuments among tourists, is located in the Kotayk region. This is the only structure of the pagan period preserved in Armenia, dedicated to the god Mihr. Before reaching the temple, we will have a stop along the way Arch of Charents, from where a wonderful view of Mount Ararat opens. Then we will visit the monastery Geghard (Ayrivank). According to legend, the spear with which Christ was pierced has been kept here since the 13th century. As part of the excursion, we will visit the gorge of the Azat River, where we will see the miraculous miracle of nature «Symphony of stones». The natural monument, also known as the Basalt Organ, is famous for its magnificent, seemingly artificial rocks.

Gathering place: Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas (Sayat-Nova, 1a).
