Dive into the history and financial heart of the city – this is what awaits you in this exciting place. “City” – This is an area that combines centuries-old traditions and modern trends, attracting the attention of both locals and tourists from all over the world.

During our excursion, you will be able to explore the exciting streets with architectural masterpieces, learn about the rich history of this place, as well as get acquainted with the famous business districts and historical monuments that made “City” one of the most important areas of London. By far the second most popular group excursion in London – This is a tour of its business part, known as theCity of London. If you look at a map of London, you will see that the River Thames flows through its center, dividing the city into northern and southern parts. Historically, London was founded on the north side, while nothing existed on the south side.

Today, the northern part of London is divided into two parts: left (western) and right (eastern). The left side represents the areaWestminsterthat we already mentioned. And the right side – this is exactly the City of London. This area has historical significance, as it was here that Roman Londinium was founded. You will also encounter the remains of this Roman city in some parts of the City on our group tour.

However, today the City of London – it is not only a historical site, but also one of the mainfinancial capitals of the world. Many financial institutions and business centersare concentrated here, making it an important location for the global economy.

The center of the City of London, in turn, is the Cathedral, from where our group excursions begin. The cathedral also sets the height of nearby buildings, with the exception, of course, of the part where the skyscrapers are located. During our walk through the City of London, you will see a huge number of different sights, but in this text we will highlight only the most significant of them. One of the most important objects in this area – Bank of England, which confirms the status of the City of London as the financial capital of the world. By the way, the Bank of England has a free museum, which you can go to separately and on your own. In this museum you can even touch a real gold bar with your own hands. During our group excursion, we cannot ignorethe business center of London itself with its impressive skyscrapers. This area differs from the rest of London with itsmodern architecture and business atmosphere. AlthoughLondon Tower Castle and Tower Bridgeare technically outside the City of London, adding them to our tour will enrich the experience and allow you to enjoy the historical and architectural beauty of these two magnificent landmarks. Tower Castle is a significant symbol of British history, and Tower Bridge is a beautiful engineering structure created in a unique style. This is a great addition to your London tour!
