Next we will continue our journey to Garni.

Garni is the only pagan temple preserved in Armenia, the construction of which was based exclusively on mathematical calculations and canons of sacred geometry strong>. There were mentions of the temple back in thefirst century. Here you should definitely try water from the fountains. Garni water is considered the most delicious in Armenia. Having seen enough of the landscapes of Garni, we will continue our journey further.

The next stop will be the Geghard Monastery. The premises of this monastery complex are entirely carved into the rock. How much faith and work was invested... Being here, you feel history and the spirit of that time.

In Geghard grandmothers bake gata — national Armenian pastries in the shape of a large round pie. No one will remain indifferent at the sight of dried fruits, fruit lavash and the sweet smell of chuchkhela.

Next we will go towards Sevan. The Alpine lake is located at an altitude of about 1900 meters above sea level. Let's go up to the Sevan Peninsula, go to the Sevanavank Monastery, built in the 8th-9th centuries. From here there is a bewitching view of the lake, and seagulls fly right above our heads.
