Welcome to an exciting group tour of “Canary Wharf”.

On this exciting walk you will plunge into the world of the “Isle of Dogs”, which is far from just limited to the glass and steel of Canary Wharf. Here the magical elements of the skyscrapers of New York, the canals of Venice and the drawbridges of St. Petersburg merge, wrapped in the spirit of the English province.

An exciting journey awaits you, where you will see the old docks, the place where Millwall's football fields were once located, as well as concrete Pillboxes , which once defended the island during World War II, and where farm animals now live. We will give answers to the mysteries of the island: how its name came about and is it really an island. We will also unravel the mystery ofCanary Wharfand find out why its entry is limitedby barriers and anti-tank barriers.

You will see a unique combination of modern skyscrapers and picturesque English villages, a future city and ordinary farms, united in one area. We will talk about the connection of the island with the films “Star Wars” and “The Lord of the Rings”. We'll walk along the canals, crossing drawbridges, and get to know the amazing Canary Wharf. This area will impress you with itsarchitectureandunique construction solutions. There are beautiful parks and gardens with streams and waterfalls, as well ascanals and bridgesthat give it a unique character. As the residents themselves say,Canary Wharf – it “Looks like Venice, works like New York”.
