On the red route we walk through the City - the city of London, the historical center hidden under skyscrapers. We will see St. Paul's Cathedral from an unexpected angle, the Guildhall town hall, find the remains of a Roman amphitheater, find out who the Lord Mayor is and where he lives, visit the Royal Exchange, where we can buy good tea if we wish, and at the same time talk about English tea and coffee traditions.

We will look into the alleys where the spirit of the old city has been preserved, we will find a fabulous market hidden next to the famous Gherkin skyscraper, we will discuss modern architecture, and at the end of our walk we will see the beautiful Tower Bridge.

Also on our red route we talk about the world's first metro, for this we will pass two stops, therefore, you need to have travel cards with you: an Oyster card or a contactless bank card.

Information

WHERE?
We meet at the exit from the Temple metro station (District and Circle line, green and yellow lines) under the large Underground sign. There is only one exit (the entrance is located in the same place as the exit) from the metro, it is impossible to get lost. It is also convenient to walk to our meeting point. For example, from Trafalgar Square or the Parliament buildings along the Thames embankment you can walk in 15-20 minutes. From Covent Garden Market along the Strand – in 10 minutes. Look for a guide with a yellow sign saying “London at 15:15.”

WHAT TIME DOES THE TOUR START?
The clue is in the question itself! We start exactly at 15:15, but we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes earlier to meet the guide and other participants and, most importantly, get ready for an exciting walk!

Attractions

Big Ben
Big Ben

While planning a journey and exploring the key attractions of England, do not overlook the historical Clock Tower of the Westminster Palace, erected over 150 years ago. The iconic dials of this tower solemnly mark the most pivotal events in the nation's history: the arrival of the New Year, Minutes of Silence, and other significant moments. For decades on Earth, there has been no clock more majestic and impressive than that of Big Ben - no photographic image or textual description can convey the full power and splendor of this paramount symbol of London.
