Paragliding — is a type of hang gliding in which the pilot uses a lightweight parachute canopy called a paraglider to fly. A paraglider looks like an elongated canopy that is inflated by the wind. The pilot is attached to the paraglider with a special seat and controls the flight using a steering wheel. This sport allows the pilot to make long flights, taking off from low points such as hills or mountains. Paragliding can range from conquering high mountain peaks to flying over lowland areas.
