At this part of the city located  its main attractions are concentrated. In the Old City are the main shrines of three religions: Muslim, Jewish and Christian. There are also several quarters in which Jews, Arabs, Christians and Armenians live. Despite the fact that Armenians also are Christians, separate services are held for them in temples, and they live separately. In the Armenian quarter there are practically no tourist excursions. Everyone can see the stunning monuments of ancient architecture, just a walk through the Old Town. The Tower of David, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the preserved Roman shopping street, the Wailing Wall and many other sights of Jerusalem are open for tourists.

Nazareth, is the third most important city for Christians after Jerusalem and Bethlehem, here the childhood and youth of Jesus Christ passed. Nazareth got its name from the Hebrew word "netzer" - a branch, although in modern Hebrew this word is not used to denote a branch. Nazareth was first mentioned in the Gospel.
According to archaeological excavations, there used to be an agricultural settlement, where only a few families lived, including the holy family (the Blessed Virgin Mary, Joseph and Jesus Christ). The significant Christian shrine in Nazareth is undoubtedly the grotto of the Annunciation, over which the Temple of the Annunciation was erected. In the vicinity of the city there are: Sepphoris National Park - the parental home of Mary, the remains of the Crusader fortress and other archaeological sites.
It is because of this that Jesus is called “ha-Nozri,” which means Nazarene.

There are a lot pf names of  Dead Sea. It is often called the “bottom of the world,” because it is located at the lowest point on earth. And in the biblical stories this unusual reservoir is reflected. They say that in the mixture for bonding bricks during the construction of the Tower of Babel, a composition was prepared based on the components contained in the Dead Sea. Used them to strengthen Noah's ark. On the shores of the Dead Sea, an excellent resort area has been created: hotels, motels, health and beauty centers that conduct procedures using sea water and therapeutic mud.

On the way from the Roman praetorium to Calvary passed the mournful path of Jesus Christ.  Fourteen forced stops were made along the way, due to circumstances stopping the sad procession, now called stations. Small churches or chapels were built on the site of the first ten stations. The remaining four can be seen in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Do not be afraid of the name, this is not the end of the world. Although if he is destined to happen, then according to Christian tradition, this event will occur at the foot of Mount Tel Megido. Even in antiquity, the hill occupied a strategically important position, here trade routes passed from the ports of the Mediterranean Sea to the northeast through the Jezreel, Harod and Beit Shean valleys, to the Jordan River and beyond, and military routes. Meggido was the dominant city-state in the Lower Galilee. Over its centuries-old history, it underwent about 26 destruction, as evidenced by archaeological excavations. The hill literally stands on layers of 26 cultural layers, 60 meters high.

The Western Wall or the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem is the wall preserved after the destruction of the First and Second Temples of the Jews. The Arabs, who saw how the Jews grieve over the destruction of the temple, called this place the Wailing Wall. Currently, there is a tradition: when you standing at the front of  Wailing Wall you can  make the most secret dreams. You can also put a note between the stones of the Wall with a cherished desire, which will certainly come true. When you are planning to visit the Wailing Wall, it should be remembered that this is possible only in modest clothing that covers the knees and shoulders.

Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Church of the Resurrection) - the main shrine and place of pilgrimage for all Christians around the world.  It is the place of the convergence of the Holy Fire, were Jesus Christ was crucified,  buried and resurrected. 

Thanks to the Roman emperor Constantine the Great and his mother Elena,  were built churches on the territory of the Holy Land celebrating the main gospel events: the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth.  According to the Christian tradition, Mary lived here exactly when the archangel Gabriel announced the good news about the birth of the messiah, thats why this place it seems to be unique.
The modern church was erected in 1969 and is the largest Catholic church in the entire Middle East. The church consists of two levels, the lower level is the grotto, where, upon giving, was Virgin Mary during the Annunciation. You should pay attention to the frescoes that have come down to us from the past and miraculously preserving their almost original appearance.
In the grotto there is a throne with a marble circle, where the message is written in Latin: "Verbum caro hic factum est" - "Here your word has become flesh."

As  known, Jesus was baptized in the waters of the Jordan River. That is why Christians from different parts of the world want to plunge into this river, and some want to perform the rite of baptism here. For this, the government of Israel was equipped with a special complex called Yardenit. The Yardenit complex is a calm backwater at the source of the sacred Jordan River. This place is equipped with everything necessary for the convenience of visitors. There are showers, locker rooms, and pedestrian walkways that make it convenient to approach the water. In addition, on the territory of the complex there are small shops where it is possible to purchase souvenirs or cosmetics from Israel, as well as special water containers for Jordan.

No one will remain hungry, because in the complex there is a restaurant with a large selection of dishes.

the Cathedral of the Twelve Apostles is the Greek Temple of  and the monastery of the Greek Orthodox Church. According to legend, the temple stands in place of the house where the Lord healed paralysis.

In Jerusalem there is the Church of the Holy Sepulcher revered by all Christians. The part  of that churrch is one of the most important shrines of the Christian world - Golgotha or Calvary ​​(the mountain on which Jesus was crucified).
To the right of the main entrance to the Temple there are steps - you can follow them to Calvary. This holy place is surrounded by candles and lamps. Under the altar of the Orthodox chapel, located on Calvary, there is a deepening marked by a silver circle. If you put down your hand, you can touch the place where  stood the cross, on which Jesus was crucified.
Believers from different countries come to Jerusalem to visit the most important attraction - the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and touch Golgotha.

Jordan is a river in the Middle East, considered being one of the most sacred rivers in the world.

Jordan originates at the foot of the Mount Hermon, flows through the Sea of Galilee, and runs into the Dead Sea. In its downstream it represents a natural border between Israel and Jordan.

Jordan is frequently mentioned in the Bible. According to the Old Testament, the Jewish people with Joshua crossed Jordan on dry land while its waters parted by miracle, thus completing the forty-year-long wandering of the Jews in the desert. Later, according to the Gospel, Jesus Christ was baptized in the waters of this river.
