Type VIP excursions
Language Russian

In the village of Trsteno, located 7 km from Dubrovnik, you'll find the unique Arboretum, a botanical garden founded in 1410 by the Dubrovnik nobleman Gučetić-Gozze. This exceptional garden showcases Renaissance, Gothic, and Baroque influences and houses exotic plants from all corners of the globe, as well as relic vegetation such as ginkgo biloba, Lebanese cedar, dragon tree, bamboo, citrus trees, and more.

Among the architectural landmarks are the Gučetić-Gozze Palace, a baroque-style fountain, a medieval aqueduct, sundials, pergolas, laurel and cypress alleys, and more. Visitors to the park have the opportunity to learn about olive oil production and winemaking techniques.

The most significant attraction in the Arboretum is the plane tree, over 600 years old, which impresses everyone with its grandeur.

Afterward, the tour continues by car to the town of Ston, located 60 km from Dubrovnik and part of the Dubrovnik region. You'll have a panoramic walking tour of Ston, including the city walls, the longest fortress walls in Europe (second longest in the world after the Great Wall of China), spanning 5.5 km. You'll also explore the town's courtyards and visit the salt basins, the oldest in Europe (approximately 5000 years old), where you'll learn about the process of producing ecologically pure salt from seawater.

For those interested, there is an option to visit an oyster farm and learn about oyster cultivation in the ecologically pristine bay of Ston.

Afterward, by the participants' request, you'll enjoy a traditional meal in a local restaurant, featuring dishes from the Dubrovnik region's cuisine, including, of course, fresh oysters!

The duration of the excursion is up to 5-6 hours.
