Have you managed to buy gifts for your family and loved ones for the New Year? If not, we invite you to a New Year's shopping experience at the most famous market in the country - Mahane Yehuda Market and the luxurious stores of Mamilla Avenue.

Our "New Year's Shopping in Jerusalem" excursion is available only once a year. Mahane Yehuda Market, which opened in 1928, is an incredible labyrinth. If it were a city, its streets would be named Apple, Peach, Plum, and Almond. And that's just a small part of the abundant variety of produce that overwhelms shoppers upon entering the market.

The locals call Mahane Yehuda Market "Shuk," and it has always delighted tourists and guests with its vibrant colors and the atmosphere of an open-air Eastern bazaar, where Jews and Arabs trade a wide range of delicacies, from the famous haloumi cheese and pickled herring to sweet halva and honey-dipped dates.

Mamilla Shopping Center, located between the modern center of Jerusalem and the Old City, is a magnificent gallery of shops, boutiques, and cafes. It exudes the unique atmosphere of the best shopping centers in Europe, with expensive stores featuring renowned brands, luxurious restaurants and cafes, and the world-famous Mamilla Hotel.

Mamila Avenue

Mamilla Avenue

This pedestrian avenue connects the center of Jerusalem and the Old City. There is no traffic on Mamilla Avenue; the street belongs entirely to pedestrians. If you are planning shopping, or are going to relax in a restaurant or cafe, do not hesitate - come here. Everything here is maintained in the best European traditions. And in contrast, the Old Town is visible in new colors - a magnificent panorama opens up on it from the avenue.

Mahane Yehuda

The Shuk, or Mahane Yehuda Market, as it is known by Israelis, has always delighted tourists and visitors with its vibrant colors and the atmosphere of an open-air eastern bazaar, where Jews and Arabs trade a variety of culinary delights. You can find everything from the famous haloumi cheese and pickled herring to sweet halva and honey-dipped dates.
