Located on the right bank of the Kura River (the Georgian name of the river is Mtkvari), almost in the center of the city. Mtatsminda dominates the surrounding hills and is a unique symbol of the capital of Georgia.

At the top there is a television tower with a height of 277.4 m, a park with a funicular line and a restaurant at the top station.

From the observation decks of the park there is a beautiful view of Tbilisi lying below.
