1. Tsakhkadzor
Tsakhkadzor – a modern ski resort in Armenia, located 60 km from Yerevan, at an altitude of 1845 m above sea level. Tsakhkadzor is one of the most popular and hospitable resorts in Armenia. This is one of those small corners of our mountainous country where the beauty of nature is manifested in all its versatility.
Everything is provided here for active recreation of guests: sports equipment rental, skiing lessons by experienced instructors, a leisure center, a restaurant, a cafe and much more. . The ski season lasts in Tsakhkadzor for about 5 months, from mid-November to mid-April, which allows you to fully enjoy the resort.
 
2. Kecharis Monastery
Kecharis is located in the northwestern part of Tsakhkadzor. The church complex was built in the 11th-13th centuries. It consists of four churches, two vestibules, in one of which rests a famous medieval politician, the founder of the monastery – Master Grigory Pakhlavuni.
 
3. Tsaghkadzor Ropeway
Tsaghkadzor, a popular ski resort in Armenia, has a cable car with 5 stations and a dozen ski slopes. The cable car is located on the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis at 1966-2819 m above sea level, and has been operating since 1967. From a height of 2819 m, where the high-speed lift reaches in 32 minutes, amazing scenery opens up, and in clear weather, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat. In 2004, the existing cable car was replaced with a new, modern one, and in 2017 it was improved thanks to large investments. Currently, the cable car is well equipped, an active and safe holiday for tourists is guaranteed.
 
4. Lake Sevan
Lake Sevan – "blue pearl" Armenia, is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest mountain freshwater lakes in the world. Its area – 1400 sq. km, located at an altitude of 1900 m above sea level. 28 large and small rivers flow into Sevan, but only one flows out – Hrazdan river. The lake has a volcanic formation and is surrounded by mountain ranges reaching up to 3000 m above sea level. Beautiful nature and crystal clear water create excellent conditions for relaxation.
 
5. Sevanavank Monastery
On the northwestern side of the lake. Sevan offers a beautiful view: a peninsula with medieval monasteries rises from the mirror surface of the lake. Sevanavank was built in 874 at the behest of Ashot Bagratuni’s daughter – Queen Mariam. Against the backdrop of the blue sky and turquoise lake, the churches of St. Arakelots and St. Astvatsatsin (Virgin Mary) leave an indescribable impression on the viewer.
