Heviz is a world-famous resort, which takes its name from the largest lake in the world and the only lake in Europe with the healing power of water and a unique composition of silt that lies in a multi-meter layer at its bottom. The bacterial flora of sludge produces a weak antibiotic, so there are no pathogenic bacteria in the water. In addition,Hevizis located surrounded by a protected forest of 50 hectares, which provides the resort with a special, unique healing microclimate! The main goal of the excursion is to plunge into the thermal waters of the lake and enjoy the healing power of Heviz water. Time for swimming is approximately 3 hours. After swimming, free time for lunch or shopping.
On the way to Budapest stop in Keszthely at the palace of the Counts Festetics. The magnificent palace, owned by the family, is the third largest in the country and is considered the most beautiful and luxurious of the restored palaces in Hungary. After visiting the castle from the outside and walking through the magnificent park, those interested will be able to explore the castle inside.
