Hungary - a mysterious country created from legends...

There are many unsolved mysteries in her story, but Turul – one of them. A mythological bird that once adorned the banners of the fighting tribes of the Magyars, Messenger of the Gods and Messenger of Heaven, as, according to legend, it was called in ancient times!

Today you can see up close the largest monument in Hungary – symbol, feel its power and greatness, and also hear entertaining legends!

The site offers a magnificent panorama of the city Tatabanya - the city of lakes and parks. Since the history of the Hungarian Kingdom, not a single event has bypassed the city of Tata... During the excursion you will be able to visit the Old Lake, walk through the territory of the medieval fortress and, if desired, , go to her museum. Once at the second lake Cheke, you will stroll through a well-kept English park, where outside you can see the artificial buildings of ancient ruins, a small palace and a mosque, which appeared by the decision of the famous aristocratic Esterhazy family in the 18th century.

Also in Tata you will visit a 37-meter tower built for making shot and see a sundial. And for those who are especially brave, we suggest climbing to its top (overcoming 175 steps on foot!!!) and once again enjoying the unforgettable panorama from a bird's eye view!

Just a 30-minute drive from Budapest, in a picturesque hilly area lies one of the largest palaces in Hungary. Built more than 250 years ago, the Royal Castle is one of the outstanding works of Hungarian Baroque architecture. During the reign ofFranz Josephthis palace became the favorite residence of the Austro-Hungarian emperors in Hungary. The emperor's wife, Empress Elizabeth, who was affectionately called Sisi by the people, especially loved Gödöllő and willingly spent time here. The beautifully restored palace building with the pomp of bygone times greets visitors today. Walking through the halls of the palace, you involuntarily plunge into the atmosphere of the era of the legendary beauty — empresses with a difficult fate.
