Journey into the Past: Miners and the Monastery of the Holy Cross

Let's dive into the history of the mining industry of the Austro-Hungarian Empire by descending into an old mine where gypsum was mined. We learn about its transformation into a popular attraction and a huge underground lake in Europe. Next we will find out what role the mine played during the Third Reich in the forties of the 20th century.
