



GARNI PAGAN TEMPLE
The temple can be described in a few words - harmony, nature, tranquility!!! A genuine and only masterpiece of Hellenistic architecture in Armenia – The pagan temple of the sun is a favorite place of the Armenian kings. Mosaic floor – the most impressive part of the building, the only example of a complete mosaic preserved in Armenia, dating back to the 3rd century. It is made of stones of 15 shades depicting mythical heroes and water scenes from the sea goddess Tethys.
