The very Heart of Cyprus, the Troodos mountain range, will conquer your hearts. The first stop will be in the village of Astromeritis to taste Cypriot coffee. You will head towards the KYKKOS Monastery, having previously stopped in the town of Troni, near the monument dedicated to the first President of Cyprus, Archbishop Makarios ΙΙΙ. 

A walk to the monastery will enchant you with its beauty. For many centuries, one of the miraculous icons of the Mother of God, painted by Saint Luke during the life of the Virgin Mary, has been kept here. There you will also visit the Kykkos Museum of Byzantine Art.

You can taste Cypriot cuisine in the village of Prodromos. On the way we will make a short stop for a photo near the mountainOLYMP. Then we will drive through picturesque mountain villages on the slopes of the mountain range, among numerous vineyards is the village of Omodos. Omodos is considered one of the most picturesque villages of the island. Its streets are paved with stone, and in the center is the MONASTERY OF THE HONORABLE CROSS. 

Cyprus deservedly has a reputation as an island of love and beauty, thanks to the ancient Goddess. Our last stop will be at APHRODITE'S BIRTHPLACE, where, according to legend, she emerged from the foam of the sea and you will have the opportunity to swim and rejuvenate.
