Island of Cyprus — this is the real cradle of Christianity. The first impressions of this day will be in the vicinity of the island's capital, a village called Devtera. The miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary Chrysospiliotissa was discovered there. According to local beliefs, it helps in creating marriages and healing infertility.

Having visitedthe Mother of God of the Golden Cave, we will head to the village of Meniko, where in the church dedicated to Saints Cyprian and Justina a silver ark with their relics is kept. Saints are considered patrons against the evil eye and damage. The icon of the Holy Matrona of Moscow is also kept there.

Next, we'll set a course for theKykkos Monastery, having previously stopped in the town of Troni, where a short photo stop awaits you, after which you will immediately find yourself in the richest monastery in Cyprus. For many centuries, one of the miraculous icons of the Mother of God, painted by Saint Luke during the life of the Virgin Mary, has been kept here.

You will visit the Church of Our Lady of Kykkosand the Museum of Byzantine Art (optional, the entrance ticket to the museum is not included in the price of the trip), famous for its collection of ancient icons and church utensils from the 9th to the 18th centuries. You can taste traditional Cypriot cuisine in the village of Prodromos.

The last monastery in line with a difficult fate — this is theMonastery of Our Lady of Trooditissa. During its history it burned three times. It is famous for two relics: the miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Trooditissa andthe miraculous Beltwhich is worn on those wishing to conceive a child. The Image and the Belt became famous for many miracles that continue to happen to this day. Especially many miraculous incidents happened with  parents who could not have children.
