Nature, history, legends and tastes of Lake Sevan: In the center of the Armenian Highlands lies an azure lake, protected by mountain ranges — You will fall in love with these beautiful views of Armenia at first sight. Along the way, I will talk about the name of the lake and the historical battle on Sevan, which marked the beginning of the liberation of the Armenian kingdom from the Arab yoke, and will also share the legend about the prince’s daughter, the beautiful Tamar, — An island on Lake Van, which today is in Turkey, is named after her. Of course, you will visit the Sevanavank Monastery on the lake peninsula, where you will enjoy the harmony of natural and man-made and hear the main thing from the centuries-old history of the shrine. After exploring the monastery, you will have lunch at a restaurant on the shore of the lake and appreciate the taste of the famous Sevan trout and crayfish kebab.
Haghartsin Mountain Monastery and Dilijan Nature Reserve: In the second part of the journey, we will continue our journey north through the mountain tunnel. And before you will appear the medieval Haghartsinmonastery, lost among the marvelous Dilijan forests. You will be imbued with the peaceful atmosphere of Haghartsin and feel like residents of ancient Armenia, and I will tell you about the name and fate of the monastery. On the way back we'll stop for a walk around the resort town of Dilijan. Walking through the picturesque streets, you will admire traditional Armenian houses and drink hot tea made from mountain herbs.

Sevan is the largest lake in the Caucasus, located on the Armenian Highlands in Armenia. One of the main lakes of historical Armenia. The area of the lake is 1240 km².

Sevanavank is a monastery on the northwestern coast of Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik region of Armenia. The complex of buildings is located on the Sevan peninsula of the same name, which was previously a small island.

Haghartsin is an Armenian monastery located in the Tavush region of Armenia, 18 km from the city of Dilijan, in the wooded valley of the Ijevan ridge. It was built in the XI-XIII centuries.
