During our trip to Sedlec we will stop near the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and John the Baptist. You can also visit the Ossuary, located in the crypt of the Church of All Saints among the cemetery. After this, we will board the bus again and head to the beautiful and unique Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara in Kutná Hora, where our audio tour of the city will begin.

Kutná Hora is historically best known for its role as an important mining town and silver mining center. From the 13th to the 16th centuries, Kutná Hora was one of the richest and most important cities in Central Europe due to its extensive silver deposits.
The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St. John the Baptist in Sedlec near Kutna Hora is a unique UNESCO monument and the convent church of the former oldest abbey of the Cistercian order in the Czech Republic (founded in 1142). The cathedral, together with the ossuary, is the oldest part of Kutná Hora.

The Cathedral of St. Barbara is the most famous architectural monument of the city of Kutna Hora. It is the second largest and most important Gothic church in the Czech Republic and was built in the late Gothic style.
