Prague Castle is truly one of the most important historical sites in the Czech Republic and a very impressive place to visit. Its history goes back more than a thousand years, and during this time it has experienced many changes and reconstructions, reflecting different architectural styles and government regimes.

Cathedral of St. Witta, which is one of the main attractions of Prague Castle, amazes with its grandeur and beauty. This Gothic cathedral served as the site of the coronation of Czech kings and the funerals of Czech monarchs, and its architectural details, including stained glass windows and sculptures, are impressive in their craftsmanship.

The Old Royal Palace, which is another significant part of Prague Castle, is also of historical value and grandeur. Here you can see important historical halls, residences of Czech kings and emperors, as well as valuable artifacts and collections.

The "Golden Lane" is a narrow street inside Prague Castle, which in the past was home to castle guards and alchemists. Its name is associated with the legend that the Zolotniki lived here. Today it is a tourist attraction where you can see small houses and shops offering various souvenirs.

The Charles Bridge
The Charles Bridge

Medieval stone arch bridge crossing the Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic. Its construction began in 1357 under the patronage of King Charles IV and was completed at the beginning of the 15th century. The bridge replaced the old Judith Bridge, built in 1158-1172, which was badly damaged by a flood in 1342. The new bridge was originally called Stone Bridge or Prague Bridge, but since 1870 it has been known as Charles Bridge.
