Mukhraka. Carmelite Monastery.

Muhraq Monastery is located on Mount Carmel. The biblical story says that once on this mountain there was a dispute between King Ahab and the prophet Elijah about the true God and true faith. The king was defeated in this argument. Later, already at the time of the Crusaders, an order of Carmelites appeared on Mount Carmel, for which the prophet Elijah became a spiritual patron. At the monastery there is a sculpture depicting Elijah, who brought a fire sword over the conquered priest. The monastery itself is quite small. Next to it there is an observation deck from which you can see a stunning panorama of the Jezreel Valley. The monastery is surrounded by a stunningly beautiful garden where you can take a leisurely stroll while admiring the beauty of the surroundings.

Cana of Galilee

It is a small Arab settlement. Here happened a miracle known to us from the biblical story , created by Jesus - at the wedding, he turned water into wine, deciding to help the newlyweds at the request of the Mother. Now on this place is the Catholic Temple of the Lord’s wedding. It is believed that the marriages concluded in this Temple are the strongest and happiest. Also in Cana of Galilee you can see the Church of St. George the Victorious and the Church of the Holy Apostle Bartholomew.

Armageddon Valley

Do not be afraid of the name, this is not the end of the world. Although if he is destined to happen, then according to Christian tradition, this event will occur at the foot of Mount Tel Megido. It will be the last battle between the sons of Good and Evil, who converge in a fierce battle. Although there were already applicants to fight at the foot of the mountain, starting from the Egyptian pharaoh Thutmose III and ending with Napoleon himself.
Armageddon can be translated as - "haar Meggido" Mount Meggido.
Even in antiquity, the hill occupied a strategically important position, here trade routes passed from the ports of the Mediterranean Sea to the northeast through the Jezreel, Harod and Beit Shean valleys, to the Jordan River and beyond, and military routes. Meggido was the dominant city-state in the Lower Galilee. Over its centuries-old history, it underwent about 26 destruction, as evidenced by archaeological excavations. The hill literally stands on layers of 26 cultural layers, 60 meters high.

A sacred place for followers of Druzeism, a religion practiced by a group of Arabs living in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria in addition to Israel. It originated in the 10th to 11th centuries CE in Egypt, and its greatest figure is considered by the Druze to be al-Hakim.

West of the Sea of Galilee (or Lake Kinneret) is a hill on which stands a magnificent palace. In one of its rooms the prophet Nebi Shu'ayb found eternal rest. The Druze call Yitro, the father-in-law of the prophet Moses. 

This place is famous for another event. According to legend, in 1187 the Crusaders clashed here in a battle with the Egyptian Sultan Saladin. In this battle, one of the most important relics of Christ's faith, the Life-Giving Cross, was lost.

Mount Arbel

Arbel is an ancient settlement dating back to the early Roman rule and the period of the Mishnah and Talmud. It preserves numerous archaeological monuments, including the ruins of a city settlement and remnants of an ancient synagogue.

Tomb of Rambam - Moshe Ben Maimon

The Maimonides Memorial in Tiberias, located on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, is dedicated to the great 12th-century Jewish scholar Moses ben Maimon (Maimonides).

The study and interpretation of the Torah were central to his life's work. Maimonides left a vast body of work encompassing philosophy, ethics, medicine, mathematics, physics, and astronomy. He authored the religious work "Mishneh Torah" ("Repetition of the Torah") and provided commentaries on numerous religious matters.
