We will start the morning with the largest supermarket, which in the good Soviet times was a market –  This is both a one-man show and a visual master class in marketing. Here you can buy any farm products, from juicy seasonal vegetables and fruits to aromatic pickles and unleavened Armenian cheeses. I will tell you about the variety of local products, their characteristics and what you can cook from them.

DATE WITH MOUNT ARARAT / KHOR VIRAP

We leave the city in a great mood, the road will take us through the Ararat Valley . A majestic panorama opens up from the Ararat Plain, Greater Ararat, which the Armenians call Masis.  Like two dumb brothers, they stand guard, guarding the plain and its cities. According to Armenian legend, when the whole world was flooded with water, Noah’s Ark landed on the slopes of these giants.

HOR VIRAP

With a panorama of Mount Ararat. Come to Armenia and not go on a date with Mount Ararat? We will pay special attention to our homemade vodka made from various fruits — It is believed that in small quantities it is beneficial for the heart and metabolism. It is distilled two or three times, improving the taste; at a strength of 50-60 degrees, it retains softness and a fruity aroma.
